Take Your Electric Adventure Off Road: The Toyota bZ Woodland
There’s a new Toyota SUV coming, and it’s taking electric adventures to the next level. The bZ Woodland is more powerful, more capable, and has more range than any Toyota electric so far. Are you ready to electrify your adventures?
Adventures Need More Space
The Woodland version of the bZ stretches for an extra six inches over the standard bZ models. This gives you a larger cargo space to pack up all the gear you’ll want to take with you when you hit the trails.
The extra length also gives the Woodland a larger footprint and, along with the black overfender design, contributes to its more aggressive stance.
Electric Power for On and Off the Road
If you’ve been considering used cars for your next electric purchase, you may want to hold off a little longer and wait for the bZ Woodland. Its dual motor setup gives it 375 horsepower, and it comes standard with all-wheel drive. The suspension gives it 8.3 inches of ground clearance, so you can confidently take it over all types of terrain.
If you need to take some extra gear along that’s too large to fit in the vehicle, this new electric Toyota can tow up to 3,500 pounds.
X-Mode for on the Trails
One of the things that makes the bZ Woodland stand out from the other bZ models is the extra drive modes. X-Mode has Grip Control to make it more capable when traversing off-road conditions. It allows drivers to choose the drive mode they want to optimize braking and power delivery to the wheels.
Grip Control is an added feature within the X-Mode that is made for low-speed driving over rough terrain. It will control the output from the electric motor to help prevent wheel slip.
A Better View of the Terrain
When you’re traversing over rocks or just navigating a tight parking lot, the Panoramic View Monitor with Multi-Terrain Monitor can be a game changer. This feature gives you a better view of what’s around you, to help you avoid clipping a curb or hitting a large rock.
The view comes courtesy of the massive 14-inch screen for the infotainment system.
Let’s Talk Tech
The 14-inch screen will probably be the focus of your attention when you first take a seat in the new bZ Woodland, but it is far from the only tech in this new EV. Depending on the trim, it’s joined by dual wireless charging pads, so you can always have a full charge on your phone, and the available JBL Premium Audio system.
The infotainment system runs Toyota’s latest software, which is extra responsive. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make it easy to sync your phone and bring all your contacts and apps to the large screen. When you need to look something up on the internet or want to check your socials, the Wi-Fi hotspot gives you access when and where you want it.
You could keep searching used cars for your next off-road adventurer, but the new bZ Woodlands electric SUV is worth the wait.
